Frequently Asked Questions for "Bar Poker"
Is my bar / restaurant a good fit for poker?
Yes, the physical space needed is at least a minimum size to fit two, 10 person poker tables, measuring approximately 8 feet long and 3.5 feet wide, please do not consider booths. If you are unsure if your space will be appropriate, one of our reps will be glad to help analyze your situation. Great Players Poker does ask that you connsider offering food specials and incentives to poker players.
How is this legal?
Our poker tournaments are free for players to play in, with no consideration for play. Players do not wager anything of monetary value and are advised not to verbalize any betting or mention of money while playing.
How long do the tournaments take?
The tournaments will last around 4 - 5 hours and registration will begin an hour prior.
Nightly prizes are up to each individual venue and are the responsibility of the individual venue. We encourage venues to give away some prizes each event top tournament finishers. Many venues give away gift certificates that can be used for food purchase (no cash value). Nightly prizes are up to the venue.
